What is Herbal Medicine?
Herbal medicine is a natural and effective way of supporting health in both adults and children. It uses whole plants and plant extracts to help address illness and support the body's natural processes of healing and recovery. Modern Western herbal medicine brings together traditional knowledge passed down through generations with current research and clinical understanding.
My Approach
My name is Sarah O'Neill, and I'm a qualified clinical herbalist based in Tralee in County Kerry, currently working from the All Therapy Centre.
My approach is rooted in traditional herbal knowledge, alongside a modern understanding of how the body’s systems work together.
I work with people of all ages and a wide range of health concerns, taking the time to understand their story and offering herbal, dietary and lifestyle support tailored to their needs.
What to Expect
An initial herbal consultation lasts approximately one-hour. I take time to explore your health story in depth. We'll talk through your current concerns, your medical history, diet and lifestyle, and how different aspects of your life may be influencing your health.
From this, I develop a personalised approach that may include herbal remedies, simple dietary guidance and supportive lifestyle changes. My aim is to work with both the person and the plants, taking a holistic view of your body's systems to help restore balance over time.
Follow-up consultations generally take around 30 minutes and are usually scheduled after 4 weeks of treatment.
